FA Cup Quarter Final weekend on the "Daq" means we need to think a little out of the box if a trading profit is to be had. I can see the majority of casual punters wading into the four odds on favourites with a combination of bets using Betdaq's excellent multiple facility which really can enhance the prices of those doubles and trebles. However I think there is enough evidence to suggest taking on a couple of the hotpots and going against the crowd.
First up we have resurgent Chelsea going to the Ricoh Arena to face a Coventry side who are hardly dominant on their own patch. The Blues may have one eye on next weeks key Juventus clash but should have plenty in the locker to deal with Chris Coleman's men. Chelsea are outstanding away and at a well backed 1.52 (they traded at 1.65 earlier in the week) I fully expect them to win.
Manchester United's trip to Fulham is an entirely different matter and a more than perilous task as the Champions of Europe embark on their current trophy quest. Fulham are fantastic at Craven Cottage and we can absolutlely dismiss their desperate showing at Old Trafford recently where they simply did not turn up. Fergie's men are not firing at full pace at the moment and traditionally have always found it tough in West London. I really see Roy Hodgson's men making a fight out of this and while backing the hosts at 5.1 may be a liitle fanciful, laying United at the current 1.88 on the "Daq" looks like a great play.
Aresenal will surely have far too much for Burnley at The Emirates and Arsene Wenger is certain to have his troops geared up for what is their only realistic trophy chance this season. Backing the Gunners at 1.48 is hardly appealing though and if forced to play I would have a small investment in the 1.8 -1 on the Asian Handicap.
In the final tie on Sunday evening at Goodison Park I am definitely a layer of the home side based purely on the price. I like Everton as they are a side full of energy and incredibly well coached and managed by David Moyes but they do have their limitations. The Toffees rarely hammer opponents and as a result I cannot entertain backing them at 1.74 against Middlesbrough. As poor as they are away from home, Gareth Southgate's men will surely take some heart from their excellent victory over Liverpool last Saturday and should at least keep this game tight enough for us to consider taking some trading profit in running.
Good Luck All! Have A Fabulous Cheltenham
