We are in the middle of a fine run at the moment and appear to have the blend just right between backing, laying and Asian Handicap plays. With the return to Premier League action I will be plucking one from each of those three for our weekend business on Betdaq.
I have to be on Everton at around 4/6 against a Hull side who are now a shadow of the side who lit up the league in the early part of the season. Hammerings at the hands of Sunderland and Manchester city do not bode well for Phil Brown's men and the slip in their form has been quite alarming. Everton on the other hand have quietly moved into the top six without hitting their straps and now that the Toffees are beginning to tick it will take a side far better than Hull to get the better of them. Everton's away form has been magnificent but it has been results at Goodison Park that has formed the cornerstone of their successful league campaigns. I make Everton around a 4/9 shot for this so at the current price, this is an absolute no brainer.
I just could not believe how poor Newcastle were at home to Liverpool over the holiday period. Yes, the league leaders were impressive but a double figure scoreline was not out of the question such was the ineptitude of Joe Kinner's team. Looking at the personnel available to the Newcastle gaffer I can't be with them to turn things around sufficiently to beat a visiting West Ham side who are definite top half of the table material in my book. I think Zola is doing a nice job of meshing attcking play with defensive responsibility at the moment and if the Hammers can orchestrate outstanding recent draws at Anfield and Stamford Bridge. then they are more than capable of getting something from St James' Park. Lay Newcastle at the current 2.42 on "The Daq".
I am at Fratton Park tomorrow on Sky Sports duty for a clash of two teams and managers who are really feeling the heat in the current climate. When you look at Portsmouth and Manchester City it is difficult to come up with any positives with both churning out a series of wretched results. The home side are the ones who are in real dire straits though after the enforced departures of Diarra and Defoe. Tony Adams has limited quality in the squad and with confidence at an all time low the FA Cup holders may face a struggle to maintaiin their top flight status. City, while in a mess themselves, surely have enough skill and power to string a sequence of results together and I like them to travel home with all of the points on Saturday afternoon. Mark Hughes can unravel himself from this situation and his team are a strong fancy of mine at 1.97 draw no bet.
I'll be back next week with more of the best plays at Betdaq. Good luck to you all this weekend.
