We'll kick off our three plays this weekend by taking on Chelsea for their desperately difficult trip to the Reebok. Something just isn't quite right with the Blues at the moment and the margin for error at the very top is wafer thin. Phil Scolari's men were just plain poor at home to Arsenal last week and I see their run of seven consecutive away wins ending at the hands of Gary Megson's resurgent side. Bolton have enough confidence and sheer will about them at the moment to defy all recent statistics and I am a layer of Chelsea even at the now drifting price of 1.6 on the "Daq"
Blackburn's record against the big four is simply horrible and they haven't even scored a goal let alone taken a point off the division's elite so far this term. I expect this run to continue against a Liverpool team who, although they have hit a rocky patch, are packed with enough talent to sustain their title challenge well into the New Year. The Reds actually set up far better away from Anfield where their defensive, counter attacking style is well suited to winning games. Even without Fernando Torres, Liverpool are too good for Paul Ince's men who alarmingly haven't won in the league since September and are in serious freefall. Take the 1.75 about the league leaders cementing their place at the top.
I see no point in getting technical about Sunderland's trip to Old Trafford. Readers of my column at Betdaq Extra have known my feelings about the Black Cats for some time and the departure of Roy Keane only increases my view that they need a minor miracle to retain their position in the top flight. United while struggling for league goals have been threatening to dish out a hiding for a few weeks now and five goals in midweek against Blackburn could tee them up for a real show in the evening kick off. A play of United -2 at around 5/6 on the Asian line may not look like immediate value but I just cannot see the Champions winning by anything less than a couple of goals.
Good luck to you all with your Betdaq trading this weekend.
