My brief is simple - to make multiple betting profitable for you and to highlight the great value that can be obtained on BETDAQ MULTIPLES compared to those bookie chappies.

Multiple Betting - BETDAQ HELP PAGE

BETDAQ was the first exchange to introduce MULTIPLE bets to exchange betting. You can view all markets that are multiple ‘enabled’ through a separate multiples portal. Click on the Multiples tab to access these markets.

A Multiple Bet is defined as individual bets which combine two or more selections in a single bet. The overall payout for a win (including the original stake) is equal to the stake multiplied by the product of the various odds.

To make the first choice in your Multiple simply go to the market and make a selection as if you were placing a single bet. There will only be 1 price box available for each selection. This selection will be added to the Multiples tab on the right side of your screen. It may be helpful to imagine this area as your shopping basket.

To add further selections to your Multiple, focus your mouse back on the main screen and select another bet of your choice, note you must leave the market you were in and enter any other market that is offering Multiple Bets. Only one  selection per event can be added to a Multiple bet. For example your first selection could be on a horse race and your second on a soccer match. As you add selections to your Multiple you will see your shopping list grow. BETDAQ can support up to 7 selections in any Multiple Bet.

In order to get a quote of available prices for your Multiple click on the "Get Bet Types" button on the right of your screen. This will allow you to choose from all the possible Muliples that can be made from your chosen selections.  For example if you have made three selections you will be offered the choice of 3 doubles and 1 treble. A full description of all the bets available can be found below.

Once you have chosen your Bet Type, you can enter your stake on the Bet Slip click "Place Bet". This will prompt a Bet Verification screen, verify all the details of your Multiple Bet are correct and click "Confirm Bet". This will open a Bet Receipt that you can keep for your personal records.

Multiple Bet Types Offered:

You can combine up to 7 selections in different events to make a Double, Treble, 4-fold,  5-Fold right up to a 7-fold. In making a selection, you are choosing to back that selection, please note it is not possible to lay a selection as part of a multiple bet. All selections must win for the multiple bet to be settled as a winner.

Commission payable is calculated at 5% of winnings per multiple bet for all customers.

You can combine up to 7 selections in different events to make a Double, Treble, 4-fold,  5-Fold right up to a 7-fold. In the event of one or more of your selections not taking part your bet will be regarded as having one less leg i.e. a treble becomes a double etc.

All selections in multiple bets including related contingencies are subject to BETDAQ rules. Full details can be found by clicking on the ABOUT US section of your account and by clicking on Terms & Conditions - The Company Rules.

For three or more selections, you can take all combinations to make a 'Trixie' (4 bets, 3 doubles and a treble), 'Yankee' (11 bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a 4-fold) or 'Super Yankee' (26 bets, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 4-folds and 1 5-fold). In these combinations each of the bets is settled separately.

PREVIEW
The highlight of today’s action at Roland Garros sees Roger Federer and Gael Monfils go head-to-head for a place in the semi-finals of the French Open. The former world number one has looked in fantastic form thus far, but can expect a run for his money against the local favourite. Monfils is bidding to become the first Frenchman to win the Roland Garros title since Yannick Noah in 1983.

Federer has beaten his opponent in all but one of their six contests, but the Frenchman did prevail in three sets the last time they met. The pair have met twice before at the French Open and the Swiss maestro has only dropped one set. It’s not too difficult to see why Federer is trading at around 1.15 on the ‘Daq’ given that he has destroyed all his opponents in Paris, including a fourth straight sets victory over Stanislas Wawrinka in the last round.

Monfils knows it will take something special to get the better of Federer and he will not have been helped by the grueling five sets win against Ferrer in the last round.

Although Federer has bagged only one ATP championship title this year, he’s been on fire in Paris and he’s a good bet to keep his dream of a 17th Grand Slam alive for another round.

NAP AND DOUBLE FOR THE SECOND DAY RUNNING: After Eirland (WON 4-6) at Downpatrick on Sunday, which was doubled in his Daq Multiples with Fame And Glory (3-10), Shamrock yesterday napped Malayan Mist (WON 5-6) and had it in his trio with Uncle Taffy (WON 6-5).

39.0 BETDAQ OUTSIDER AND A SHORT-PRICED YANKEE: Shamrock is at Ballinrobe again today to spend his winnings on a hot Daq Multiples yankee, predicting a Ruby Walsh double and a Katie Walsh nap. But he may also have found the man to be on with outsiders. And it’s 39.0 on Betdaq.

I’m going for a naps hat-trick today. And it has to be Robin Angevin (8.40) in the bumper.  Apart from stable ability, you’re virtually betting blind in bumpers but, since this cat was let out of the bag at the Punchestown festival but missed the cut, we know that he should be an armchair ride.

Willie Mullins has won this race five times out of eight and sister Kate will owe me if brother Ruby can’t land me the handicap on Somatic (6.35).

Talk about betting blind, Tony Martin is in such fine form after his long spell in the doldrums that the ones that are winning now are going to find plenty, shrugging of the penalties, still placed low in the handicap from what they can achieve.

Ruby teams up with the guv’nor, Willie Mullins, in the opening races: while Laganbank (5.35) showed up well at Punchestown and should give the weight in the opener, Sicilian Secret (6.05) was disappointing at the same venue and I reckon they’ find it hard to catch front-runner Jim Will Fix It on this tight track.

Who better to side with in a Martinstown than Bryan Cooper who is packing a Pistol Jack (8.10) for the hottest stable on the track, Dessie Hughes. His riding results for Dessie when completing in the last week are: 1103303. Looks a solid each-way today, then.

Another impossible to stop is Gordon Elliott, and the Betdaq market says: get on Wikaala (7.05), the paper-forecast 13-2 having shrunk to 2.79 on the Daq as I write.

Yesterday’s opening-day winners were all 4-1 or shorter, once we’d got over the shock of a Gordon Elliott winner at 10-1, made even worse because I looked at the result and didn’t recognise the runner-up; he was a reserve, saddled by Patrick Martin.

The Navan trainer can’t stop sneaking them into the frame at a big price, so I will have an old punt on Cinderella Story (5.35) as my outsider of the day.

Here’s Patrick’s tally in the last 12 days: 3rd 12-1, 3rd 14-1, won 7-2, won 9-1, 2nd 2-1, 3rd 5-1, 2nd 20-1.
And jockey A P Thornton has the following form since May 19, taking the Martin mounts: 30112. Yet Cinderella Story is 39.0 on the Daq this morning.

RECITAL HAS IT ALL FOR EPSOM: Daqman’s stats-based ABC guide to the Derby reveals Recital as the only horse with everything going for him. He has the form and background, and a sire with the right credentials, where Carlton House and Casamento have not.

FALLON RIDES IN THE DERBY: It was announced this morning that Kieren Fallon takes the Recital ride, so that the top four in the market now bring together Fallon, Ryan Moore, Christophe Lemaire and Mickael Barzalona in a truly international jockey spectacular for the greatest trainers in three countries: Sir Michael Stoute, Aidan O’Brien, Andre Fabre and Alain de Royer-Dupre.

ABCDE  Recital Five-lengths winner of the Criterium de Saint-Cloud as a juvenile on heavy ground. Last year those who followed the soft-ground two-year-old trial form with St Nicholas Abbey from the same stable got badly burned.

But Recital has already raced satisfactorily in his second season. Beaten third in the Ballysax behind Banimpire (5th Irish 1,000 Guineas), he reversed the form with the Ballysax runner-up, Regent Street, when wining the Derrinstown Derby Trial - an excellent guide to the Epsom result - suggesting good improvement without looking spectacular.

Acting as though he needed some cut in the ground, Recital carried his head high and hung to the left, and the time was slow, so that both major trials this year – Derrinstown and Dante – do not please the clock watchers.

ABCDE Roderic O’Connor Irish 2,000 guineas winner. Goes for Sunday’s French Derby, states trainer.

ABCD  Carlton House By a World Cup winner out of a mare by the brave Bustino, who went down fighting to Grundy in the King George, one of the most famous duels in racing history.

Carlton House charged down the Newbury straight for a nine-lengths maiden win on soft last autumn, but was given a totally different, educational ride in the Dante on a sound surface, restrained then asked to quicken between horses after a slow early pace at York.

Trainer Sir Michael Stoute had claimed ‘we can hardly get him tuned up first time’, leaving - we assume - a lot to work on, as he did between the Dante and the Derby with Workforce last year.

ABCE  Masked Marvel Modest 5th in Sandown Classic Trial behind Genius Beast, and dropped back to a Listed to get off the mark in the Cocked Hat Stakes, the old Predominate, in which he turned the tables on Auld Burns by more than a stone, suggesting one has improved dramatically or the other has deteriorated at a similar rate. Unfortunately we don’t know which.

ABE    Ocean War The colt he beat in April has run second twice more, though dropped back from the Dee Stakes to another maiden. Not a good sign.

But Ocean War himself has successfully stepped up to Listed class in the Newmarket Stakes, a race that has produced placed horses at Epsom like Presenting, Beat All and Beat Hollow.

AE        Pour Moi His third to Baraan and Prairie Star in the Prix La Force trial in April would put him – through Prairie Star’s Saint-Cloud Criterium third last November – nearly eight lengths behind Recital, though collateral form between the seasons is often unreliable.

But Andre Fabre said that Pour Moi had been short of work and, sure enough, the Coolmore colt stepped up on that to beat Genius Beast into third in the Prix Hocquart on good ground, just a furlong short of the Epsom trip.

BDE    Treasure Beach Put in his place by Frankel in the Royal Lodge Stakes as a two-year-old but did well after a long absence to dispose of the Chester Vase field and join the squad of Ballydoyle probables.

CDE    Memphis Tennessee Showed potential for the Derby trip by keeping on behind Recital in the Derrinstown but rather demotes the race, since he was rated 20lb inferior to the winner and the third, Regent Street, had gone backwards, having finished in just in front of Recital in the Ballysax.

CDE    Seville Like so many Ballydoyle results, it was a case of Seville, the supposed second string, doing better than the O’Brien talking horse when he finished runner-up to Casamento in the Racing Post Trophy.

He had earlier won at Tipperary, where the likes of Hawk Wing, High Chaparral and Dylan Thomas all won their first races.
Seville had Christophe Soumillon booked for the Dante and the French ace bagged the rail as the pacemaker showed signs of wilting but the Galileo colt couldn’t find any more under pressure and, though he ran on, Carlton House came by with great purpose and commanded the finish.

CE      Genius Beast Stoutly bred on the dam’s side, going back through an Irish Oaks and Prix Vermeille winner to Sinndar, and got a mile on soft as a two-year-old.

Stepped up considerably on juvenile form by winning the Sandown Classic Trial but did not beat Auld Burns in that by as far as Masked Marvel did at Goodwood and his defeat by Praire Star in the Prix Hocquart would put him, collaterally, behind both Pour Moi (this year) and Recital (last year).

C       Casamento Along with Pathfork, who had beaten him in the National Stakes on the soft, seemed the pick of the Irish above Ballydoyle’s best, after winning the Racing Post Trophy (from Seville).

Like Pathfork, finished down the field behind Frankel in the Newmarket Guineas. The form seemed too bad to be true and hopes were resurrected when Roderic O’Connor, who was even further behind than that pair, bounced back to take the Irish 2,000 Guineas, beating the Newmarket second.

However, Casamento is a son of Shamardal, whose best result as a stallion is probably the French Derby victory of Lope de Vega (1m 2f), who didn’t get the 1m 4f of the Arc, fading a long way behind Workforce.

E        Marhaba Malyoon First foal by the sire of Derby third Rewilding out of a well related mare but stone last in Lingfield Derby Trial.

E        Nathaniel Half-length second to Frankel last season and continued to progress, his subsequent form working out really well, and he narrowly missed out on the Chester Vase earlier this month, running on well in a display of stamina which suggested the St Leger as a target.

E          Native Khan Always thereabouts, and has become a benchmark, after fourth to Casamento and third to Frankel, but his actual winning form – the Craven Stakes – doesn’t amount to much, with the second a Listed failure and the third 12 lengths last in the Dante.

E        Pisco Sour A brilliant ride by Jimmy Fortune, slowing the pace, then kicking on, saw Pisco Sour at the head of affairs for a long way in the Dante and he hung on for third as first Seville and then Carlton House went into action. Mixed American pedigree.

E         Vadamar Third to Pour Moi in the Prix Greffulhe but the race was a farce of barging and scrimmaging, leaving him with a lot to prove at Epsom. By the sire of Conduit, Duncan and Moonstone out of a mare also stamina endowed.

-        Castlemorris King Related to a handicap winner on the Flat and a long-distance hurdler, which suggests he’s no king but a chav among princes.

PREVIEW
The Championship play-off final is once again being hailed as the ‘richest game in football’ and it’s clear that whichever team wins today will be able to capitalise on the Premier League’s bounty.

Swansea are in the better form of the two clubs, having made a late charge for the second automatic promotion spot and with four wins and two draws in their last six, but against Cardiff the Royals were outstanding, both resolute in defence and sharp up front.

Manager Brian McDermott will be reminding his side that this is a one-off game and that the two league defeats against their next opponent means nothing for the Wembley showdown. Whatever the case, the Royals’ head-to-head record doesn’t make good reading for those backing them at around 2.82 on the ‘Daq’. The Swans have not lost in any of the previous five contests and have conceded just once.

Both sides have been strong at the back coming into the play-off phase of the campaign and I expect a tight game. The Wembley pitch size will likely benefit Brendan Rodgers’ side a little more given their ability to keep hold of possession.

After an unsuccessful time at the Madejski, Rodgers would love nothing more than to gain promotion over a side that deemed his services expendable. Swansea won both league games this term against Reading by a single goal and I expect them to make it three consecutive wins this afternoon.

ANOTHER NAP AND DOUBLE FOR SHAMROCK: Eirland, who let Shamrock down with a last-hurdle stumble at Downpatrick, returned to the track to land his nap yesterday, doubled in his Daq Multiples with Fame And Glory.

AND A DERMOT WELD DOUBLE AT BALLINROBE: Shamrock is at Ballinrobe today, predicting a Dermot Weld double on the mixed card, Flat and jumps.

I knew if I left him alone he’d win. My over-the-winter Derby hope, Apache, came good at Leopardstown yesterday, after needing four races to break his maiden for Aidan O’Brien.

No, there’s no egg on my face, nor on his. Galileo’s son finally produced what I thought I’d seen in him with what the Racing Post this morning describes as ‘the most impressive maiden win all year.’ Apache now goes to Royal Ascot.

Fame And Glory duly won the Saval Beg but – ‘Look behind you Willie Robinson!’- Rite Of Passage signaled his retained ability and strong intention to regain the Ascot Gold Cup accolade, with a staying-on third over far too short a trip.

Ballinrobe’s two-day meeting starts with Dermot Weld hoping that Malayan Mist (7.00) can take this stepping stone to a Listed next month which will do the Dansili filly’s paddocks value no harm at all.

The main opposition this afternoon, Crystal Belle and Deire Na Sli, both seem to have difficulty finding their right trip, and Malayan Mist can complete a quick double for the Curragh stable.

‘Watch the market’ was the word when we saw Fierce Cry (6.30) – a half brother to Evident Pride – entered for his debut. Well, the market this morning said, experience or no for Jouster and co, ‘Cry’ can go in first time.

Magical Memoir (8.00) finished well at Punchestown to just miss a festival prize but the happy ending is that she gets no penalty, as do Priors Gold and Scottish Boogie. She is also fortunate to get the cut in the ground that a daughter of Barathea needs.

Uncle Taffy (8.30), only out of form when Tony Martin was, can follow up quickly under Ruby Walsh after his Cork win Friday evening.. and, Ruby, here’s your sister, Kate (I’m very musical today!) on Black Empress (9.00) for the Second Go Syndicate, having her third go but looking likely to. Shake hands with all of the neighbours now! It’s your round.

Binocular (6.00), not to be confused with the horse we snuffed out in the Champion Hurdle, is a CD winner with a perfect draw tonight, and that future champion jockey, Joseph O’Brien, will have him focused on the winning post.

For the second day running we landed a winning double on BETDAQ MULTIPLES. On Sunday it was Peterborough and Republic Of Ireland who combined nicely for us in a double that paid 5.38.

That takes the profit on the month to over 60 points.

We'll switch back to the horses on Monday for hopefully the third winning double in a row.

My brief is simple - to make multiple betting profitable for you and to highlight the great value that can be obtained on BETDAQ MULTIPLES compared to those bookie chappies.

If you haven't placed a BETDAQ MULTIPLE yet - it's dead easy - just think orange rather than purple. Log into your BETDAQ account - click the orange multiples tab and you can start building your perm. The good news is you can go cross sport (currently horse racing, football and rugby union) and are offered odds on the acca, doubles, trebles, Yankees etc).

Multiple Betting - BETDAQ HELP PAGE

BETDAQ was the first exchange to introduce MULTIPLE bets to exchange betting. You can view all markets that are multiple ‘enabled’ through a separate multiples portal. Click on the Multiples tab to access these markets.

A Multiple Bet is defined as individual bets which combine two or more selections in a single bet. The overall payout for a win (including the original stake) is equal to the stake multiplied by the product of the various odds.

To make the first choice in your Multiple simply go to the market and make a selection as if you were placing a single bet. There will only be 1 price box available for each selection. This selection will be added to the Multiples tab on the right side of your screen. It may be helpful to imagine this area as your shopping basket.

To add further selections to your Multiple, focus your mouse back on the main screen and select another bet of your choice, note you must leave the market you were in and enter any other market that is offering Multiple Bets. Only one  selection per event can be added to a Multiple bet. For example your first selection could be on a horse race and your second on a soccer match. As you add selections to your Multiple you will see your shopping list grow. BETDAQ can support up to 7 selections in any Multiple Bet.

In order to get a quote of available prices for your Multiple click on the "Get Bet Types" button on the right of your screen. This will allow you to choose from all the possible Muliples that can be made from your chosen selections.  For example if you have made three selections you will be offered the choice of 3 doubles and 1 treble. A full description of all the bets available can be found below.

Once you have chosen your Bet Type, you can enter your stake on the Bet Slip click "Place Bet". This will prompt a Bet Verification screen, verify all the details of your Multiple Bet are correct and click "Confirm Bet". This will open a Bet Receipt that you can keep for your personal records.

Multiple Bet Types Offered:

You can combine up to 7 selections in different events to make a Double, Treble, 4-fold,  5-Fold right up to a 7-fold. In making a selection, you are choosing to back that selection, please note it is not possible to lay a selection as part of a multiple bet. All selections must win for the multiple bet to be settled as a winner.

Commission payable is calculated at 5% of winnings per multiple bet for all customers.

You can combine up to 7 selections in different events to make a Double, Treble, 4-fold,  5-Fold right up to a 7-fold. In the event of one or more of your selections not taking part your bet will be regarded as having one less leg i.e. a treble becomes a double etc.

All selections in multiple bets including related contingencies are subject to BETDAQ rules. Full details can be found by clicking on the ABOUT US section of your account and by clicking on Terms & Conditions - The Company Rules.

For three or more selections, you can take all combinations to make a 'Trixie' (4 bets, 3 doubles and a treble), 'Yankee' (11 bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a 4-fold) or 'Super Yankee' (26 bets, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 4-folds and 1 5-fold). In these combinations each of the bets is settled separately.

A CLASSIC WEEK AHEAD: Today Daqman maps out his coverage of three Classics: the Derby and Oaks at Epsom and the French Derby at Chantilly on Sunday.

FRENCH CHALLENGER THREE TIMES THE PRICE ON BETDAQ: This morning’s announcement that French colt, Vadamar, will run in the Derby saw bookmaker trading as low as 20-1 but there were 64.0 offers available on Betdaq.
 
LAYS BACK TO FORM: Daqman’s lays sequence returned to form yesterday, after the neck defeat on Saturday, when paper-favourite Cara Carmela (unplaced 10-1) was 10th of 12 at Nottingham after drifting badly.

HOLIDAY JACKPOT BET AT 24.0: Redcar’s feature of the Bank Holiday, the Zetland Gold Cup, provides Daqman with a 24.0 jackpot bet this afternoon.

It’s Derby dynasty day on Saturday. In a surprise gambit to claim back a long heritage, the Aga Khan has moved his French knight on to the Derby board to challenge the Ballydoyle defence and The Queen herself.

The Epsom heyday of the old Aga Khan began with Blenheim (1930) and saw Bahram, Mahmoud, My Love and Tulyar take the Blue Riband five times in a double decade of supremacy before a gap of nearly 30 years – the Vincent O’Brien and Lester Piggott era – until Shergar, Shahrastani, Kahyasi and Sinndar for the present Aga. Vadamar would complete his modern five-timer.

Introduced as low as 20-1 with bookmakers, Vadamar was three times that at 64.0 in exchanges offered on Betdaq this morning, and almost double the best fixed-odds price available in advertised lists in the Racing Post and on Oddschecker.

Vadamar was only third to the current French-trained Derby second favourite, Pour Moi, in a roughhouse Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud at the beginning of the month.

Pour Moi goes back to the family of Epsom winner Lammtara and the mighty Bosra Sham. Vadamar, a son of French Derby winner, Dalakhani, out of a Group-1-winning mare, doesn’t have the same strong female line but has excuses – he took a knock in scrimmaging – for his odds-on defeat in the Greffulhe.

I am reminded of Empery. I watched him finish third in his prep in France before being saddled over here by Maurize Zilber to win our number-one Classic under Lester Piggott for a big-time major owner of the Seventies, Texas oil billionaire Nelson Bunker Hunt.

TODAY (Zetland Gold Cup): Four-year-old southern raiders have grabbed four of the last six Zetland Gold Cups (4.10 Redcar). They have just the one chance of doing so today, via Sarrsar.

The snag with Sarrsar is that his best form was on the soft, where this is firm ground, but he has won at Lingfield round a left-hand turn, which will also suit Jutland, a winner at Epsom and Lingfield.

Merchant Of Dubai had Jutland and Bikini Babe behind when fourth at Hamilton but all his handicap success has come at 12 furlongs and beyond, and with cut in the ground.

Arlequin is a strong northern defender for a stable with its last fortnight’s runners all placed (James Bethell 322112), the Rock Of Gibraltar colt’s good run at York seemingly showing that he’s swept past Ingleby Spirit but is only 6lb higher than for his April win at Doncaster.

Compare that with Prince Of Johanne, who is 11lb higher and is stepping up in grade for the second time in six weeks from a class-4 success at Haydock. Clearly an improver but will do well to complete the hat-trick.

Breakheart is better off with Arlequin on that Doncaster form and the dual mile winner was bound to have another crack at today’s trip after running on to snatch third over a furlong shorter at Newmarket in the April race won by Royal Hunt Cup fancy, Green Destiny. He’s taken over the Betdaq market this morning.

Pendragon is three from five when racing over today’s trip: he showed at Ayr last autumn that he’s capable of scoring at this class-2 level but is eight now and would be winning off his highest ever mark.

Jo’burg finished in front of Pendragon, Breakheart and Mirrored in the Cambridgeshire but  usually needs a run to show his best form. Halicarnussus, a one-time Group performer, is capable of running a place at 24.0 on Betdaq this morning, down to his lowest ever mark and claimed off. In the last year, he’s failed to place only in Group races.

TOMORROW (Derby ABC Guide): So how do the French fit into the pattern of past Derby winners? What do the stats tells us to back? It’s all in my ABC check tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY (Derby Dark Horse): Every so often, there’s a real shock placer at Epsom, up to 100-1, which nowadays could translate to 200-1 or more on Betdaq. I’ll try and winkle him out of his oyster.

I shall also be covering the four Betdaq-sponsored races at Kempton Park’s evening meeting, where there’s a surprise nap in store, I’m told.

THURSDAY (Oaks ABC Guide and Dark Filly): The same special stats ABC will assess the Oaks field on Thursday and I’ll be checking out potential dark fillies there, too.

FRIDAY (The Oaks): The day will be covered by BBC-2 but the first two races look like repeats! Godolphin’s five-year-old mare Antara bids for back-to-back wins under Frankie Dettori in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes (1.40), achieved quite recently by Echelon (2006-7).

Then, in the mile handicap, Mark Johnston’s Tartan Gigha goes for the hat-trick but his winning rider of last year, Kieren Fallon, is expected to partner Luca Cumani’s Start Right, badly drawn when made favourite for a handicap at Meydan in January.

Aidan O’Brien sent out Fame And Glory, last year’s winner of the Coronation Cup (2.45), to take the Saval Beg Stakes at Leopardstown yesterday, and instead attempts a fifth success in seven year’s with St Nicholas Abbey, reignited at Chester to win the Ormonde Stakes three week’s ago.

The Betdaq market for the Oaks (4.05) this morning has an implicit recommendation for Beatrice Aurore and Sirens Song, traded down to 11.5 and 15.0 respectively.

Sirens Song, 14-1 in a place with bookmakers, was offered at 24.0 on the Daq last night with Beatrice Aurore, generally 14-1 and 16-1, available at 20.0. Don’t miss the Daq value: constantly comparing Betdaq markets against bookmaker odds gives you a huge edge.

SATURDAY (Epsom Derby Day): The crescendo to the Derby at 4 o’clock is built by the frenetic Epsom ‘Dash’ (3.15), a fast and furious Grand Old Duke Of York charge down one hill and up another.

Vitally important you look for a course-and-distance winner, which means you have a horse brave enough – mad enough? – such as Bertoliver, Falasteen, Fathom Five and Perfect Blossom. Should one of more of these be declared, take a position early doors, which on Betdaq can be the night before, whereas you may have to wait until morning with those scaredy-cat bookmakers.

SUNDAY (French Derby Day): Aidan O’Brien is to divert Irish 2,000 Guineas winner, Roderic O’Connor, from Epsom to Sunday’s Prix Du Jockey Club at Chantilly, which is only 10 furlongs.

It was won last year by the Pour Moi stable, that of Andre Fabre, with Lope De Vega. The Aga Khan, who has won it six times between 1979 and 2006 – including with Dalakhani – will be represented by Baraan. That’s where we came in.
